The Courage To Teach - I. Write a personal statement trying to express what is at the heart of your life as a future teacher. Consider the following questions: Why do I want to become a teacher? What do I stand for as a student teacher? What do I want my legacy as a teacher to be? What can I do to keep track of myself, to “remember” my own heart? When did you first realize that you wanted to be a teacher? What were the circumstances of this realization? How close are you to those feelings today?

I want to become a teacher to help many children to provide them not only knowledge but also a different perspective on life. For my teaching is one of the most wonderful professions it comes a great responsibility and a true commitment to the students. Although being a good teacher is not easy as we face a lot of problems either in our societies and the problems of our students.

As a student teacher I try to do my best so in the future I am going to apply all the knowledge I am acquiring effectively.

I want my legacy as a future teacher  positively affect the lives of my students make them believe in themselves to change their future and help them to be good people, useful to society and help them on their way of learning.

I personally think it will not be difficult to remind me of my own heart because to me teaching is really something I enjoy doing, especially caring for those most vulnerable the needs of others and teach with dedication and patience.

The first time I realized I wanted to be a teacher was when I was studying at primary school. Although since I was little I used to play that I was a teacher. When I acquired the maturity to choose my career I also felt influenced by my English teacher in elementary she was very professional in her work with her I acquired the foundations of my learning also she always advised us with love and she properly treated all students alike without distinction.

Although at that time I was a child I felt very safe with my teacher and seeing my classmates as they enjoyed all the classes I felt more motivated to study this career. I now feel closer to these feelings because I have shared with my own students in a classroom.

I think teachers continually need to evaluate their strategies to meet the increasing needs of their students not only transmit knowledge. Because sometimes we do not realize but one good or bad experience can make change the lives of our students for life.

I'm motivated to keep learning every day, never stop learning, constantly update me on techniques to implement in my classroom and help many students.
